We don’t customize our code for different clients, so the code you will deploy is instantly used by thousands of ecommerce professionals affecting the daily shopping experience of hundreds of millions of consumers globally. Exciting? Yes, we know.

That’s obviously a lot of responsibility, so you need to have a solid background while developing systems with a robust and scalable back-end and a slick and usable web UI.

Our pricing is based on delivering results so our success relies on you delivering quality code on a continuous basis. At Nosto you’re not bound to unrealistic project scopes caused by sales hooking-in customers and over-promising customized projects. We do not like our developers working graveyard shifts with a skeleton crew. That’s also why we want you to have a big impact on planning ensuring this does not happen!

Day to day work involves lots of development and research of new product areas, especially regarding Facebook marketing APIs, one of our key focus areas as an official Facebook marketing partner.

In short, we are seeking an experienced developer who can innovate and execute on good ideas, often your own.

• You’ve shipped software, ideally longer than three years or personal projects showing your hands-on experience. You should have production experience with a nice bit of our stack: Java, Play, Mongo, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, AWS, etc. and for the parts you don’t have, you’re excited to learn.
• You care about code: You take pride in engineering, and have a deep understanding of how to write high quality, maintainable, extensible software.
